Face it, it was only a matter of time. Bags that can go for thousands of dollars are bound to be targetted for all the ones who want the real thing and nothing else.

In London, England on December 30th, two teenage guys riding on mopeds decided to smash the Marc Jacobs window on Mount Street to reach and grab whatever goodies were on display. They didn't succeed...but did hours later when they did the same thing to another store on Mount Street (probably Brown's, but the name can't be released).

Alexander McQueen is the latest victim of the fashion thieves. However, this time they broke in to McQueen's East End headquarters, stealing computers and handbag samples from the fall 2008 season. A spokeswomen says the break in wasn't a major one, and the computers they stole were actually the "wrong ones" to steal, as in they didn't have any critical secretive ridiculously awesome designs or information that McQueen is/will use. Well thanks heaveens.

Since the beginning of last year, London stores including Marc Jacobs, Asprey, Roger Vivier, Luella, Brora, Anya Hindmarch, Sonia Rykiel and Frost French have been ransacked by thieves on mopeds. Police say it's a total of 32 this year.

here's some intresting news.
gap has handed over it's classic white t-shirt design to the young designers of Doo.Ri, Rodarte, and Thakoon. The end results? a cap-sleeved, belted shirt-dress, Rodarte a trapeze mini-dress with bows on the pockets, and Thakoon a button-down cotton blouse with a tie and puffy sleeves—each one as understated and unique as we expected.

So, there is a new clothing store on king street named Hamden, or hampden, or something. anyway, they have the most fantastic clothes, and some of the cutest dresses i have ever seen by some names i have very rarely heard.

so, marykate never had a big role in the new edie sedgewick movie Factory Girl, but she did have a few lines or so in a certain scene. However, the scene has been officially cut out! She didn't want to do promotional work for the movie (i'm suggesting this is probably because that wouuldn't make any sense because she had a small role and they just wanted her to because she was famous), and now she's only in the background of a party! that's it! i'm pissed.

so it looks like i was right about the "longer shirts and black tights" being a new "trend" sadly, it looks better on the olsen twins, but what doesn't? anyway, the pattern seems to be working along like it should. Lindsay is never a trendSETTER, just a quick follwer. I gaurantee you she reads perezhilton everyday and saw the same pictures of marykate that i do. Then, she dresses like them. She's lame, but atleast she knows who to follow.

the golden globes occur on january 15th. My bet is the whole 20's and 30's look is going to be popular. That, and of course black.

well, as for this weekend some friends and i went to see johnnie's band in orangeburg. it was fun, it was crowded. loren got into art institute of chicago! i'm so happy for her. i got my fuckin' cell phone back, bitches. yeah thass right, no one's gonna steal from me. or atleast steal from me and get away with it.
i ran into a tree today. it's pretty bad. its not that bad but it's bad enough. and ineed to get a new paint job i realized, one of my doors to my cars is rusting. oh, and my laptop computer? the screen cracked. i can't tell my parents because then they'll know how irresponsible i really am. i think it's because i've been without everything for so long, that once i get back with it i just don't know what to do with them all. i mean, i loose my phone, i break my computer screen, i wreck my car... all in like a week period, too. all in exactly a week. what the fuck!

i got a really cute dress this weekened, it's super short & just a plain black and white short sleeve houndstooth print. i wore it with black leggings, black flats, a black sweater, and this gold pin, and a few braclets (over my sweater so you could see them). i saw vanessa from whispertown2000 where something very similiar, but she had a cute hat and chanel pin on. and ireally want a chanel pin.
